Welcome to the Black and Neurodiversity Intersection section of ND Upgrade. This area is dedicated to understanding how neurodivergence uniquely affects Black individuals. We examine the intersection of race and neurodiversity, focusing on the cultural, social, and systemic factors that influence the experiences of Black neurodivergent people. Through stories, research, and resources, we aim to illuminate the challenges and celebrate the resilience and strengths of this community. Join us in fostering a deeper appreciation and support for Black neurodivergent individuals (Omeiza 2023).
